My cousin randomly messaged me one day and said we should go take some pictures because my blog is lacking content haha. I drove out to Port Washington with her soon after and we were trying to catch one last glimpse of the sun that day. I don't have much to update because life is pretty much the same! I have a big trip coming up in January so there will be lots of new content then. Here are some photos featuring (blurry) me and my cousin. See you soon x

Hello all! I took a trip out to Vancouver with one of my friends back in April. The trip itself was quite spontaneous since we didn't devise any itinerary and literally created one while we were there. The weather was absolutely horrible there! It rained majority of our stay and the sun popped out on random occasions so we didn't get a chance to hit the mountains for hiking. But on a good note, the food there is amazing. I enjoyed ALLLL the meals we had there, although I did wish we were able to venture outside of the metro area for even better food. Needless to say, the trip was one for the books. There were so many moments where my friend and I were constantly confused as a couple and each time it was mentioned, we gave each other the most perplexed look haha (lol, it's even funnier if you know us personally). We even had the chance to get a glimpse of the cherry blossoms and we were not disappointed. Vancouver is an amazing city with the kindest and most welcoming people. I will definitely make a trip back there, but will plan to trek out to the mountains next time! Here are a few photos for your enjoyment :)

This past Sunday I took the Metro North up to Beacon - a small quaint town in upstate New York. Highlight of the visit to Beacon was the art museum, Dia. Dia is an interesting museum because the art pieces they exhibit are nothing I've ever seen before. It's very different from the MoMa because the pieces at the Dia were both muted and dramatic. The museum seems to have a very heavy background on industrial sculptures. There is also this fantastic row of tall trees that make it the perfect setting to take an amazing photo. The walkway between the trees seems endless and definitely exudes a fairytale feeling. Enjoy the pics xx

I finally got around editing the footage I took from San Francisco about three months ago! Speeding up some clips made the footage seem shakier than it was (so sorry about the headaches!). I didn't get around editing the LA footage and still on the fence about whether or not I'll be editing it since the amount of LA footage is very small. I hope you enjoy the video and if you have any editing tips, feel free to leave them in the comments!

I went to Toronto last summer and totally forgot about uploading some shots I ended up taking during that short trip. The trip to Toronto was spontaneity at its best. I ended up buying a round trip ticket to visit a couple of my friends I met from a student exchange 2 years ago. The trip was much longer than I intended it to be, but the time spent together with old friends was well worth the long journey. I grew so accustomed to the [brief] Canadian lifestyle that I may end up traveling there every summer! Public transportation is obviously not as efficient as NYC or Hong Kong, nonetheless, it brought me to all the places I wished to go. Toronto is like the younger sister of NYC that caters to MANY millennials, but it does have its own distinct charm. While I was there I experienced both the nature and urban aspects of Toronto. I ventured out to the Greater Toronto Area with the help of my soul sister(s) and it was one of the highlights of my entire trip. I'd say Toronto is a charming city that has a lot of offer. They have a plethora of food options and some that I loved so much that I'm itching to return to this amazing city. If you're thinking about traveling here, I'd say the duration of your trip should be about 3/4 days. I cannot vouch for nightlife in Toronto, but from what my friends have told me, it's not a disappointment! I'll be heading to the west coast in a couple of weeks so be prepared for another batch of photos from that trip hehe. Enjoy these Toronto pics!

Lately, it's been getting colder and windier, and therefore I decided to whip out some of my favorite sweaters. The one I wore specifically was a turtleneck I bought a couple years back at Uniqlo. Turtlenecks are timeless and truly a piece everyone should have in their closets. I find that turtlenecks are extremely flattering because it provides more attention towards your face. It can also be dressed up or down, which is all dependent on your cup of tea. Be on the lookout for more outfits!
